Alicia Grey: Alicia is reserved, quiet, and level-headed. She loves
reading and watching movies, particularly romantic ones.
She is studying for her MA in Ancient Languages
and works part-time at the public library.
Greg Swift: As the saying goes, "opposites attract," and Greg appears
to be the opposite of Alicia: outgoing, cheerful, and talkative. He works
as a receptionist at a travel agency.
Alistair Grey: Alicia's father, Alistair is the CEO of a multi-million
dollar electronics company. He adores his daughter more than his sons
and isn't too subtle about showing it.
Hyacinth Grey: Alistair's wife and mother of Mark and Owen. She's
almost the perfect picture of the evil stepmother: austere, prim, and
lacking a sense of humor. She doesn't have a career but spends much
of her time organizing events to generate more clientle for her husband.
Mark Grey: Belligerent and aggressive, the army was made for
guys like Mark. When not on duty, he likes to spend his time
winding up his older siblings.
Owen Grey: Owen's lower body is deformed, making it
impossible for him to walk. However, he is extremely intelligent.
He invents electronic devices for his father's company and builds
models in his spare time.
Diana Archer: Diana is Alicia's best friend. She's basically a tomboy;
she loves sports and athletics. Her temperment is similar to Alicia's
except she is less reserved and more aggressive. She is a star
track-and-field athelete.
Donald Archer: Alicia's other best friend and Diana's younger
twin, Donald is an athletic medical doctor. He's an uncontrollable
flirt and frequently hits on Diana's teammates. He's also a musician.
Dennis Young: Dennis is Greg's friend. He loves talking with people
and drinking, which is why he created The Grapevine, a bar/counseling

center.
Loki: Norse trickster god. Evil bad guy.
Sindri: King of the Svartalfar (Dark elves), Sindri and his
people work for Loki.
Cordelia Swanley: A friend of Greg's, she also seems to know Alicia's
brothers. She owns a lingerie shop in town.
